With the current console battle in a full blown war, we take a look at the Playstation 3 and its huge price tag. Everyone is going around saying the PS3 does not give justic to its price, but is this true? There is no way!
The Playstation 3 is a great console and although the price may be a lot larger than its rivals, the 3 consoles should not really be compared. A big and healthy war is going on between the consoles. But for an avid gamer you will be missing out on a lot if you do not buy yourself all 3 of the high end consoles, which are PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii. We will now take a look at why you need all three.
Playstation 3
The hugely successful Playstation make is much adored, and to be factual the PS3 has not let anyone down. The console may have a huge price tag, but let's just think about what you are getting. A hard drive, probably a console with the best rendering of graphics, top titles and not to mention the Blu-ray. The Blue-rays probably end up costing more than the whole system.
Xbox 360
The first games machine to launch has a major advantage over its competitors and that is progress. People who are making the games know how to manipulate the Xbox 360 to get the best from it. Let alone to mention that it has a lot more games than the other two.
Wii
No one can put down the Nintendo Wii as it revolutionised gaming. Although a lot of the games may not be strict, they are very fun and rewarding to play. The Nintendi Wii us a fabuous system that is family orientated.
As you can see from the above all systems have their own benefits, but one of the main benefits is the wide range of the games. Most games only have sole rights to each console, so not obtaining all three could see you missing out on a great title. Summing up I would say that the PS3 is in fact well worth the purchase.

Last week I treated myself to a brand new xbox 360 arcade model and the new Fifa 2009 game. I was looking forward to the release of the next Fifa installment for such a long time and I was excited about what new features and things they had added. When I play the FIfa games I enjoy playing the mm (manager mode). I like making the transfers and managing your own squad, it is fun! Just as fun as the rest of the football game. However it doesn't appear as though the EA Sports team seem to think the same. The latest installment of the Fifa series has completely disappointed my expectation and anticipation by ripping out features of the manager mode rather than adding stuff in which is just a total surprise!
Last year's Fifa 08 manager mode was really good and I was so very excited to see what they had improved on and much to my anger an frustration they have changed nothing. As I said they have removed stuff more than they have added stuff in! I dont understand why? Why would they think it is a good idea to take features out of the game than put more stuff in there? It's not like the next gen consoles can't handle it or is it too much work! ?
One of the most frustrating things is that no one has commented on this as far as I know except for me! Am I the only user who likes Fifa manager mode? I do have to give due to the gameplay, it is better than it has ever been. And that is amazing but you can't just focus on one area of a game per year, surely it has to be an entire comprehensive advancement and progression not just in little bits all over the place. I am very annoyed and frustrated at why they have decided to make these changes as I really enjoy the Fifa manager mode. I would love an explanation as I am just so frustrated with the service that EA have provided to the community. A patch is no closer to be released on the net and the Fifa community is just getting more and more mad with the developement team. I am suprised that the support team havn't been more responsive to the mass dis-pleasure with this game. Let's just hope they pull their socks up as soon as possible as I am not a happy bunny.

Technology is a growing entity that changes as time goes by. Developers are continuously finding new methods to improve performance and gaming power. Beginning with Atari and continuing to the new Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, the graphics and software have evolved. Unlike Xbox though, Sony has reached into the hand held gaming world. The PSP software was built upon the Playstation Portable game system and has become a viable force within the gaming community.
One of the many things that set Sony Playstation Portable above other handheld gaming consoles is the software. Unlike conventional handhelds, such as the Gameboy, the PSP system is capable of updating itself and acquiring new software codes and security measures through its Wi-Fi connection. This connection is the very same as those found in laptops and even cellular phones.
If one thing could be said about Sony and their game playstation, it would be that they take their security measures seriously.
