WoW First Aid – Great Recovering Ability
First Aid, together with Fishing and Cooking belongs to secondary professions in World of Warcraft. In some ways this profession never gained much popularity since it doesn’t enhance either profit or fun in game compared to the other professions. However, all pro players, especially dps classes had a maximum skill in First Aid since they had use of it while in combat.
First Aid is usually a need for any class which doesn’t have healing abilities such as Rogues, Hunters, Mages, Warlocks, Warriors and Death Knights, even though the healing classes can also have a good use of it. A great thing about FA is that you will be able to use it in any PVE as well as in PVP battle. Click here for more on WoW First Aid Leveling Guide
What is First Aid all about?
With your First Aid skill you will be using bandages in order to heal yourself or remove a poison effect. This skill is to be used when you get damaged by an enemy player or npc. The bandages that you can create can come in very handy in both PvE as PvP situations.
How can I apply bandages?
You are able to create bandages that will be stored in your inventory in stacks of twenty. You will need to target yourself or any friendly player and then click on a bandage. If you move the effect a bandage has will stop and keep in mind that if you are healing another person, he/she needs to be in range. Once applied a bandage cannot be used again on the same individual until the 60 second debuff fades. You will be able to see the “Recently Bandaged” debuff. When that debuff disappears you will be able to apply the new bandage. For the best leveling guide click here: Ultimate Guide WoW
The material used
In order to make bandages you will need cloth. During your time in the game you will come across different kinds of cloth. From any of these you will be able to make bandages. You should know that only Humanoids drop cloth but since you will come across many of them you will have no problem to level up your First Aid. If you are have already reached level 80 without training FA, two choices will be available to you – purchasing cloth on the AH or pure mob grinding. If you want to save some gold and grind the cloth you should aim for Humanoid NPCs.
How to start?
You should start by visiting any of the First Aid trainers in the major cities. The first trainer you need to seek could be found in the starting zones for each race. There are no requirements on training the First Aid profession, just the starting fee which is 10 copper. First you will need linen cloth to make in order to make linen bandages and by making these you will be able to reach level 75. After that the next skill is 150, then 225 and so on. The FA trainers can be found in the cities of Azeroth, Outland and Northrend. If the trainers you come across cannot teach you the skill you need, they will surely direct you to another trainer who can.
First Aid quests – Is there any?
Yes, there’s one First Aid quest. A FA quest called “Triage” is a quest that you need to finish in order to become an Apprentice in FA. Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen will ask to save 15 of his patients by using special Triage Bandages he will provide you with. Alliance can pick up this quest in Theramore, while Hordies can pick it up in Hammerfall. If you would like more on WoW Leveling, click here: WoW Leveling Guide
