Warrior – Tank & Spank
In the World of Warcraft Warriors are considered to be well-known for their tanking and dps abilities. Because he can perform well in both PvE and PvP as a really good tank or melee dps, a Warrior can easily find a spot in any PvP team, instance or a raid group. Since the dual spec ability became available to all of the WoW players, playing a Warrior became even more fun.
If you choose to be a Warrior tank after a while you can get bored, even though playing a tank is quite fun, still not being able to change can get to you. When a second specialization became available to the players, you were able to make a dual build for your Warrior, one for tanking and one Fury or Arms for dps which definitely can make your char more fun to play, more useful and of course, it will save a lot of gold you would spend anyway for respec. With a setup like this you will be able to gather gear for both your tanking build and damage or PvP build. If you have the gear you can change to the Protection build if you want to do some tanking for your guild, friends or in pugs and change to a DPS guild for some PvP fun or grinding and questing etc. However, keep in mind that tanks are always a need and are really hard to find so while being in a tank spec rest assured that you will be needed and appreciated.
Protection talent build would be your choice if you decide to become a tank. The talents that can be chosen in the Protection talent tree will make the Warrior a tough cookie. The Protection tree will enable you to increase your tank’s armor, stamina, shield abilities, threat, etc. which all will contribute in making you more capable while tanking in any raid or dungeon.
If you want to build up your char as a melee dps there are two other talent builds to take into consideration – Arms talent build and Fury talent build. Arms talent build is mostly preferred by the PvP players since it has many good PvP talents and a few very useful attacks, for example Mortal Strike, which will decrease the healing done on a target affected by it. The Fury talent tree has always been used strictly for PvE DPS purposes. Some players have complained that Arms Warriors are also better in PvE when compared to the Fury Warriors. This however, is something that you yourself should judge. By choosing the Fury talent tree, you will be able to use some very nice attack abilities and you will be able to wield Two-Handed Weapons, which will not only highlight your character’s looks, but it will also make your class unique!
Through the history and in any mmorpg, Warriors have played an important role while fighting battles. This amazing class in WoW is the only once that can equip all types of weapons. A Warrior wears plate and in the combination with a good shield he will be able to become a great tank and while equipped with two-handed weapons, a Warrior will be able to make a lot of damage.
