Druid Leveling Guide

The Druid class is especially well suited to players who enjoy varying play styles, roles and like both combat and healing. Once you read the WoW Druid guide you’ll understand what makes the Druid class so unique.

Druids are great for a variety of playing styles because in many ways they’re a jack of all trades. However, before I go any further, let me mention that only the Tauren and Night Elf races can belong to the Druid class.

Druids can not only tank and DPS with the best of them but also heal really well. One unique characteristic that makes them fantastic at combat is their ability to shape shift. For tanking Druids can take the form of a Dire Bear, and for Melee they can take the shape of a Cat. This gives them a lot of flexiblity when filling differents roles of different playing situations. Now let’s turn our attention in the WoW Druid guide to some of the Druid’s strengths.

  • Crowd Control: Druids are especially resistant to crowd control.
  • Stealth: Druids can stealth once they’re in Cat form.
  • Instant Run Speed boosting buff
  • Resurrection: The only class in Warcraft able to resurrect during battle.

For this WoW druid guide to be complete lets tlak a little about their weaknesses.

  • Not as Strong as Specialized classes: They’re not as good at the different roles as classes that specialize in that one role.
  • Armor: Leather is the most armor they can wear. Multiple sets of armor are needed for the different roles you’ll play.
  • Difficult to Master: Druids are by far one of the hardest classes to master. The players that play the Druid well are those that easily manage the abilities and roles well.

To conclude the WoW Druid guide let’s take a look at some of their defining abilities. The following is a list of abilities that make the Druid class incredibly tough.

  • Able to get free of most forms of crowd control.
  • Instant run speed boost.
  • They can stealth.
  • Able to completely incapacitate enemies.
  • They use very little mana and time to heal, making them really efficient.

So if you enjoy filling more than one role and playing in multiple play styles then you may want to consider the Druid. You’ll actually feel like you’re changing classes in the game.
