World of Warcraft Cooking Guide

The WoW cooking guide will decribe leveling the Warcraft secondary profession of cooking. Cooking is perhaps one of the best secondary professions for players who do a lot of solo play and are non healers.

WoW Cooking- Levels 1-150

The first step to the cooking profession is to find a trainer, which are usually located near fires or pots in large cities. Ask a guard for directions if you do need help finding a trainer. You start out as an apprentice so find some ingredient like fish, meat, spice and you’ll need to find a fire. Even though any fire will do for cooking, learning to make your own will come in really handy. The only additional things you’ll need are flint, wood and some tinder.

Expert Levels 125-225

Next you’ll want to advance your skills to the expert level. You’ll need an Expert Cookbook to accomplish this. Horde characters will find it in Desolace down in Shadowprey Village. Alliance character have 2 choices; you can either head to Silverwind Refuge in Ashenvale or Dirge Quikcleve in Gadgetzan.

Artisan Levels 200-300

The next level to advance to is Artisan which will require some questing. If you’re Horde, then find Zamja in Ogrimmar for training. If you’re in the Alliance then get training from Daryl Riknussun in Ironforge.

Master 300-375

I won’t go into too much detail in this WoW cooking guide about the Master level but you’ll need a cookbook that you can find in Hellfire Peninsula.

Recipes

You can get recipes by killing monsters, from chests, questing or you can buy them.

As a secondary profession, Cooking complements Fishing really well. That’s because while fishing can make you good amounts of gold, selling cooked fish is even more profitable. Also cooked fish provides healing. Besides fish, just about anything can be cooked and sold to other players. Some recipes also give you some really good buffs during raids and other situations.

If however, you don’t do fishing you can level past 300 by questing, which I won’t go into this WoW cooking guide but basically it involves killing monsters and cooking them.
