Around Five months ago, while playing Halo 3 my Xbox 360 all of a sudden crashed on me. Since my system was one from the original release date, I’ve heard of people getting the Red Rings of Death (RROD) so I wasn’t totally surprised. Even though I wasn’t surprised, getting the Red Rings of Death wasn’t east to accept – so I sat there for at least a good 5 minutes in non-belief. Even though my warranty was expired I figured I had to turn to Microsoft to get my Xbox repaired. That cost me a good $165 to have my Xbox sent off to be “repaired”. Once I finally got my Xbox back, about 2 months later, it only took about 2 weeks for my Xbox to crash and burn on me again. Not knowing what else to do, I sent my system to Microsoft for a second time. I rationalized that Microsoft must have accidentally overlooked my console, and they would repair it this time. Once I finally got my 360 back, some months later, I got hit with the same problem after having it running for maybe about a month or so.

Since my console wasn’t in good shape I had to find something that would show me how to fix an Xbox 360. I had found some different fixes for the 360 that seemed to be solving the Red Ring of Death issue for other people. The fix that I tried, one of the more popular ones, known as “The Towel Trick”  ended up killing my entire Xbox 360 leaving me with a totally irreparable console. I was pretty upset at  this point, but had to have my 360 so I went out and purchased a new console. Only a few months of having my new system it starting having issues and then one day got hit with the Red Rings again. Since the problem was so prominent, I began to think that fate had just decided I was not allowed to own an Xbox 360. With all my failures I was determined more than ever  to figure out how to fix an Xbox 360, because I was not going to resort to Microsoft or risk using some lame and dangerous fixes online.

Eventually, after some more searching I found exactly what I was looking for all along.

This permanent solution is known as The Xbox 360 Red Light Pro Gamer Edition. After I sifted through all of the crap info that’s on the internet I stumbled on this website that promised I could have my system fixed in under 1 hour following a set of high definition video tutorials. I wasn’t sure if it would work but the price for the repair guide was very affordable and since I got to see the repair process beforehand, and with high-definition video I gave the repair guide a try. To make a long story short I watched the video tutorials, had a couple “AHA!” moments, did what was suggested, and guess what the result was? It demonstrated for me the proper way the Xbox 360 needed to be fixed, why it needed to be repaired that way, and more importantly it helped me repair my Xbox 360. I couldn’t be happier that this repair guide lived up to it’s claims. My 360 was up and running flawlessly in 57 minutes flat. And I did this repair to my system almost 5 months ago. Once I made that repair my system hasn’t had any problems, or over-heating issues of any kind. After my system was fixed and working I gave the guide to a few buddies of mine and they were all able to fix their Xbox 360 as well. Most of my friends were in the same predicament as I was, feeling there was no hope, but this guide really helped them repair their 360′s.

Since this repair guide has proven to be legit I just want to bring this information to the surface for other people who might be in the same position that I used to be in. I know the pains of having a console that doesn’t work because it has the Red Rings of Death.
