WoW Cooking Guide

Here is a basic roundup of what cooking in WoW entails.

Cooking is noted as a secondary skill and any race or class can benefit from cooking as everyone wants a health gain. As you know melee classes with no healing capabilities will regularly need to purchase food to regain their health points.

If a healers mana is running low they will require food to re-gain health to save their mana. When you are in between grinding you can always cook to re-gain health before resuming grinding again. Meat , eggs and fish can be cooked to restore health and this is definitely handy when doing raids.

I recommend you get fishing with cooking as it is easier to level up your cooking. It’s a great deal better to level up your cooking and fishing at the together.

What do you need to begin cooking? You must be trained by a trainer, you will require the ability to make fire as well, require goods to make a fire such as , wood, flint and tinder and maybe some spices that are needed in certain recipes. This can all be bought from vendors or the AH. You can make a reasonable amount of gold if you sell you cooked recipes to other WoW players who maybe require that specific recipe for a buff. Start cooking your butt off to make your gold. This is not the ultimate way you want to be making gold though this can be achieved by going to my gold making tips page here.

After the Burning crusade expansion was out, cooking’s popularity rose greatly due to the new opportunities available.

Looking for a certain recipe?.

Try maybe asking 1 or some of your guildies to be on the lookout for a particular recipe. If you are looking for a particular recipe, just purchase it from a merchant or go do a quest that you can gain the recipe once done. The auction house is always a good location for recipes.

Some info you might require.

To level your cooking to 300 without the use of fishing as well have a look at these 2 recipes. Charred Bear Kebabs and Juicy Bear Burgers. The recipes you require can be purchased in Felwood from Malygen (Alliance) or Bale (Horde).

Just a quick note: For the two recipes I just mentioned your cooking level needs to be level 250 and you will require the meat from level 48-56 bears.

To make some gold you can always take part in the daily cooking quests from the Rokk at the lake north of Shattrath City.

I am certain you would like to begin leveling your cooking from 1-450 right?
