There have been licensed movie video games nearly as long as there have been the means to play video and console games. With the news that Ghostbusters 3 is finally going ahead, 20 years after the second Ghostbusters movie arrived, now is a great time to remind yourself of the classic Ghostbusters characters and scenes. Let’s face it, the first is a real classic in every sense of the notion, and at last there’s a movie video game that does it justice.

The concept behind the new Ghostbusters video game was devised by Harold Ramis and Dan Ackroyd, the writers (and stars) of the first two Ghostbusters films, so the new game may even be canon to a certain extent.
