Entertainment With Xbox 360 Video Games

Video games have been rising in popularity since the days of the Atari 2600, and the current age of video gaming began with the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES for short). Two decades after the Nintendo started flying off of store shelves, there are three big consoles on the market: Microsoft’s Xbox 360, Sony’s Playstation 3, and Nintendo’s Wii. The first two will appeal to the same demographic of gamers, and they compare relatively closely in terms of graphics and other features. Therefore, the deciding factor should be their respective libraries of games. Gamers looking for a strong game library can turn to the hundreds of Xbox 360 video games on the market to fulfill their wishes.

Only a Few Exclusives

The biggest problem for many gamers about the xbox 360 is that it only has a few exclusive Xbox 360 video game titles. Big titles like Grand Theft Auto IV and Bioshock have all come out on different platforms. Exclusive titles like the Playstation 3’s Metal Gear Solid 4 are big reasons why gamers might choose one platform over another. A recent example of the effects of exclusive titles came with Square Enix’s announcement that their upcoming game Final Fantasy XIII will no longer be a Playstation 3 exclusive. As Final Fantasy XIII will now be coming out also as an Xbox 360 video game, many gamers who might have purchased a Playstation 3 may decide to go with the Xbox 360 instead.

Shooter fans are bound to love Halo 3 and Gears of War, while RPG gamers are not left out in the cold with Xbox 360 video games. The RPG enthusiast will find Fable 2 and Age of Conan to their liking. Other big titles like Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, and Bioshock will appeal to a large variety of players. To be able to play these games though, gamers will need an Xbox 360 game system. The current 20 Gb model is being sold at $300, while the new 60 Gb vesion will once again cost $350 (what the 20 Gb model cost until recently). With the system, gamers will be able to experience Xbox 360 video games in full HD 1080i (with support for 1080p). That’s the absolute best that gamers can ask for with the current generation of televisions, although computer monitors are capable of displaying slightly higher resolutions.

With so many Xbox 360 games already available and more coming out each year, gamers will find their experience with the Xbox 360 to always be exciting. All of the big genres are covered, even strategy games which have traditionally been a bastion of PC gaming. However, Microsoft develops both the Xbox platform and Windows, so gamers can expect a lot of crossover titles between the two platforms. For example, Xbox 360 games such as Bioshock, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Gears of War all appear on the PC as well. This allows gamers with incredibly fast PCs to experience even more amazing graphics, which all gamers can have affordable gameplay with the Xbox 360 pro system.

Review of Joana’s WoW Leveling Guide

Is Joana’s Leveling Guide for Real?

There is a lot of information out there asking if Joana’s Leveling guide is a scam and if you are one of the many WoW fans looking for a guide you would not be the only one who is sceptical. The forums were exploding with gossip over whether ‘Joana’ was cheating due to the fantastic speed with which they were leveling! However, I can confirm, once and for all that Joana is a completely legit player and you will be amazed at what you will find in the guide and the members area.

The guides’ creators play either a male character called Mancow or a female character called Joana. They have managed to reach level 60 in 4 days and 20 hours recording the whole thing on video with certain sections speeded up so you can follow it without having to sit at your screen endlessly. Click here to see our Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide video…

The guide was developed for those tired of endlessly grinding levels and for those looking  for all the different ways to level. Along with all the video’s the guide also comes with detailed pictures and maps, making the process much easier to follow.

If you are already a WoW player you will have heard of Mancow or Joana as one of, if not ‘the’ fastest levelers in the World of Warcraft community. So it is no coincidence that the Joana’s leveling guide is the best leveling guide for horde. It certainly helped me improve my leveling speed, as well as my enjoyment of the game!

In Detail

The guide is written in the .pdf downloadable format with detailed maps and videos (the videos are taken from the full 4 day 20 hour run on the Jubei Thos server) with all the tricky bits and points of interest marked by numbered dots. (Click here for more information on Joana’s Leveling Guide).

The latest upgrade has been improved with a modification that plugs in the .pdf info in the games interface which means you don’t have to alt+tab continually. Plus there is a guiding arrow to keep you on track. In the membership area, other benefits include:

* Joana’s 1-25 Blood Elf Leveling Guide

* Joana’s 1-60 Horde Leveling Guide

* Level 60-70 Outland Guide

* Joana’s 60-70 Outland Reference Guide

* Change logs for the guide

* Class Guides – Submitted by Users

* Additional Bonus free updates

* New: WotLK 70-80 Guide

In Summary

There is not a much simpler way of saying this because the information you get is simply superb, but if you want to save yourself hours of time and level from 1 to 80 fast, then go get yourself Joana’s leveling guide, it’s an absolute gem!.

Hot Off the Press: Joana’s 70-80 WotLK Guide is now Available! This guide blends seamlessly with the 1-70 Leveling Guide! To read the full review or for more information click here – Joanna’s Horde Leveling Guide

The Wii could help to improve your golf game

If Tiger Woods 09 was the game i was talking about then most certainly not. Although an impressive game on the Xbox 360 and PS3, I say impressive, that of course goes to people who enjoy playing a golf game over a shooter. With the new MotionPlus technology in place it means I will certainly be buying the new game for my Wii over my Xbox and PS3. When the last game was so bad, why on earth would I do this? It’s certainly not because I’m saving money on electric golf trolleys that’s for sure. It's simply because Nintendo didn't make the great motion sensing technology that they promised and although it is great for kids the majority of the time it sucks and doesn't work as well as it could. I will not talk about how much Nintendo have disappointed their fans over the last couple of years but I will say with the release of the new MotionPlus attachment for the Wii remote the game actually starts responding to how it should have when the Wii was first released.

This of course makes stormy weather a reason for golfers to smile with glee as they can simply walk downstairs and play their dream course in a nice summers day. The game does show a great insight into how difficult the game actually is from choosing the right club to deciding what the wind direction is and getting all the stress a real golfer is.

The newer edition that is due out later this year will most certainly sell more than the previous edition. Many people who are rubbish at the sport including myself can find that this is easier to use and even if you still fail at least it is in the safety of your living room and not in the middle of the golf course. As an added bonus you can shout as loud as you want without some old guy moaning at you for being too loud! I used to be an assistant green keeper myself and I have to say it wont beat watching people who think they can play golf fail miserably and swear and throw their golf clubs but it could improve the way you adjust your swing as well as improve that important hand eye co-ordination.
The best thing of all is that you no longer have to charge golf batteries up, just walk into the room, pick up the remote and have a game!

Halo 3 Cheats To Make Sure You Win The Game

In the search for Halo 3 cheats I came upon discussions of what the outcome would be in battles between Master Chief and various other famous characters. Master Chief is 2-2 in the battles we’ve covered. Can Master Chief beat his remaining opponents to bring his record above .500?

Master Chief probably needs more than Halo 3 cheats to win this battle, because he’s facing off against the all Powerful Q from Star Trek.  Everyone knows the Master Chief is a cybernetically enhanced super warrior with futuristic armor, shields, and the ability to heal himself. But Q is an powerful, godlike being who can make anything happen just by thinking it.  Master Chief doesn’t have a chance.  Q would likely play with him like a cat plays with a mouse before swatting him out of the universe.  So far Master Chief is 0-1.

Staying away from Halo 3 cheats in the next battle well would Master Chief do.  It’s Master Chief versus the most powerful muppet in the universe, Yoda from Star Wars.  Yoda graduated to CG, but in our hearts he will always be a Muppet.  Back and forth might it go as Master Chief’s advanced weaponry Master Yoda’s Jedi skills faced.  Like the battle between Yoda and the Emperor, this one would probably end in a draw. But they both fight for the side of good.  Now Master Chief is 0-1-1.

Master Chief can have Halo 3 cheats when he faces the Incredible Hulk.  But people have to realize what the Hulk really has going for him.  Not only does he have super human strength, superhuman stamina, superhuman durability, and the ability to regenerate himself, in some of his incarnations he’s also a genius.  Even so Master Chief can win this battle with patience. When Hulk gets calm he turns back into Dr. Banner who is kind of a weenie.  Master Chief has brought things even at 1-1-1.

Could Coach Ditka beat Master Chief? If his knees are healthy Coach Ditka may as well have the advantage of every one of the Halo 3 cheats ever created.  With bad knees the match is merely rendered a little bit closer. Coach Ditka wins.

Sorry Halo 3 fans, but even with Halo 3 cheats Master chief has a losing record – 1-2-1.

WoW PvP Secrets: Understanding Honor Points and PvP Tokens

Engaging in PvP combat has many benefits. Two of these benefits are Honor Points and PvP Tokens. These special PvP rewards work almost as an alternate form of gold, one that you can use only in certain places but that lets you buy gear that you otherwise wouldn’t have access to. You’re smart to learn about these, as getting them is one way to speed your character’s advancement through the levels.

Earning Honor Points

When you kill characters from the enemy faction, your character earns honor. More correctly, you will earn honor as long as you kill characters that are no more than 8 levels below your character. Killing characters that are more than 8 levels below you not only doesn’t give you honor, it is generally considered bad sportsmanship. So target characters that are higher level than you, your level, or at least within 8 levels below you if you want to increase your honor.

Once you accumulate enough Honor Points you will be able to use them, along with Battleground Marks of Honor, to buy stuff in Stormwind City’s Champions’ Hall or Orgrimmar’s Hall of Legends. Lots of interesting stuff is available, including consumables like potions, gems and trinkets, even superior or epic armor and weapons.

You can turn in one Mark of Honor from each battleground to gain extra honor as part of the Concerted Efforts quest (Alliance) or the For Great Honor quest (Horde). These quests are repeatable too, so you can grind out honor this way if you like.

Getting PvP Tokens

You can earn PvP Tokens in the Outland (the Mark of Honor Hold or Halaa Battle Token for example) as rewards for killing characters from the opposing faction. These are like the Marks of Honor you get when you fight in the battlegrounds, except PvP Tokens are only accepted by PvP vendors in the zone the tokens are from. So if your character had Marks of Honor Hold, for example, Honor Hold PvP vendors would accept them. PvP Tokens are most valuable to you when you are below Level 70, since the gear you can buy with them doesn’t go up past this level.

Now you know about how Honor Points and PvP Tokens can help your character get better gear. And you have some good ideas about where to go to earn them. But if you want to dominate PvP combat, or even hold your own against more experienced players, there’s a lot more you should learn. To learn everything you need to know, including the most current strategies & tactics you can use to dominate all aspects of PvP, you need a killer PvP guide. Visit PvP-Bible.info

Buy Call Of Duty 5 World At War

The Call of Duty: World at War 5 is a first person shooter video game. The game was developed by Treyarch and was published by Activision for all the versions of Xbox 360, Windows, Playstation 3 etc.

This game is fifth in a series that was created by the same company. Nevertheless, this latest product has fallen short of the users’ anticipations, in terms introducing newer features. The setting of the game is during the time of World War II. This version of the game takes place in the World War saga while previous versions had a modern setting.

You can purchase the Call of Duty Word at War through the Amazon website for $56.99. At least in the Windows version,the game however focuses its attention solely on the Pacific Theatre and the Eastern Front of the world war.

The tale unfolds a bit like this. The center of attention is exclusively the preliminary battles of World War II. The areas of concentration are the Pacific and the eastern parts of Europe. These include the United States of America, the Soviet Union and the Empire of Japan. The game also includes Nazi Germany.

The entire game has been told from the first person experience narrative of a Red Army soldier and another Marine Raider. The plot is strictly historical battles which taken place at Makin Island, Stalingrad, Peleliu, Seelow Heights, Berlin and Okinawa.

Call of Duty, World at War 5 has options for first person narrative as well as a multiplayer mode.

These modes help the player to unlock any additional weapon that he might lay his hands on for better fighting and protection. This adds to the player’s rank and collection of awards.

This technique of the game, which is collecting additional weaponry and awards was initially implemented in the Call for Duty: War of the Worlds part 4.

In the new version, Call of Duty: World at War 5, a maximum of four online players and two offline players can be accomodated in the console version.

Call of Duty: World at War 5 game is really among the top sellers in Britain dating back to its debut in November, 2008. In the UK alone, it has sold over one million copies and is second in rank worldwide. I believe it is also in the top 10 best selling video games on Ebay US as well.

The Call of Duty: World at War 5 game received some criticisms for returning to the world war theme instead of a progressive story on post Modern Warfare.

However, the acute portrayal of the dark and gritty sides of the war was highly praised. The new methods of skipping years in the plot and introducing the cooperative process were also very highly acclaimed.

Some Tips to Buy More Gold in the WoW Auction House

Most people think of the World of Warcraft auction house as a place to sell your own items. But it is also a place where you can earn thousands in gold, silver, and copper. But you need to know how. The trick is knowing when to sell items because when you sell items will determine how much money you make. Online guides can help you with those tips.

New players need to learn the basics of the auction house before they can make real profits. Insider tips and guides are available online to help you learn, but hands-on experience is the best teacher of course. Basically the auction house in World of Warcraft is just like auction house in the real world. Just like in the real-world prices in the auction house and what is most important are determined by supply and demand. Learning how to use the supply/demand concepts will help you tremendously, just as they do in the real world.

The first thing you will need to do is download the auctioneer add-on before you can begin using the auction house. You can find the auctioneer add-on for free online and download it. It’s a simple tool and it will give you a lot of information on which items are selling below the market value so you can be sure that what you’re purchasing you will be able to sell for more later on. Making more gold in the World of Warcraft auction house is a lot simpler if you use this free simple tool regularly. Soon you’ll become good at spotting the good deals quickly which will lead to enabling you to buy WoW gold cheap.

The auctioneer add-on will give you some great of what you should buy in the auction house, but it can’t tell you which of those items you’ll be able to sell for more money later on. This is when a guide can be helpful. The guides can give you an idea of which items will be in higher demand than others at certain points. Usually if item is selling for a low price is simply because it is not in demand, but it can also be because the right people are not there at the auction house to buy them. You need to know your items in order to eventually buy gold in WoW.

Using a set price for all of your items is a great tip for be able to sell in the World of Warcraft auction house. Usually when a player enters the auction house, they are often ready to buy their items immediately and get back to playing the game and WoW gold farming. However, if you give your items a set price they will typically be purchased quickly. A good way of selling quickly is to pressure items less than the other players but still enough to make a profit. This will help ensure that you will sell quickly and still make a profit.

While selling and buying in the WoW auction house can be complicated, there are several good ebook guides out there that will teach you the strategies. But as pointed out earlier, practice is required to become very good at buying and selling. The guides are just starting point.

Three PvP Concepts You Need to Understand

When you first get started in WoW Player versus Player (PvP) combat, you’ll encounter concepts you’re not familiar with, or that are are somewhat different when used with respect to PvP. Three of these are the local defense channel, the resurrection timer, and the diminishing returns of crowd control and movement impairing spells. Let’s talk about each of them in turn.

The Local Defense Channel

The local defense channel is a zone-wide message that goes out whenever an NPC in the zone is attacked. Normally, you don’t see these messages, but they’re easy to turn on and off. To see messages for this zone, type /join LocalDefense. To disable the messages, type /leave LocalDefense.

There’s also a world channel that tells you when any zone is attacked. To turn the world messages on and off, use /join WorldDefense and /leave WorldDefense.

The Resurrection Timer

When your character dies in PvP combat, the resurrection timer determines how long you have to wait before the character resurrects. The first time your character dies in PvP, either against another player or fighting a PvP-flagged NPC, you can resurrect without any time penalty. After that, each time they die, you get a time penalty, increasing the length of time that the resurrection timer runs before your character can resurrect. The maximum possible delay before resurrection is 5 minutes.

Be aware that the delay doesn’t affect your character if they are resurrected by another player or they get resurrected with special items like the Goblin Jumper Cables.

The Diminishing Returns of Crowd Control & Movement Impairing Spells

Crowd control spells like Charm and Stun are deadly weapons in PvP. Fortunately, they’re subject to some PvP limits. If your character gets hit by the same spell within 15 seconds of the previous spell wearing off, the duration of the second spell is reduced by 50%. If they get hit yet again, the duration of the third spell is reduced by 75%. Get affected with the same spell one more time, and this fourth casting has no effect. in addition, none of the crowd control spells last longer than 12 seconds in PvP, regardless of their normal duration. Movement impairing spells like Entangling Roots and Frost Nova are affected by the same limitations.

How You Can Learn Even More

Halo 3 Weapon Cheat To Make Sure You Finish

While researching an article for a Halo 3 cheat I stumbled on a make believe scenario – who would win a battle between Halo’s Master Chief and various famous characters?  Here is a list of some of these battles and my take on the outcome.

It’s not a Halo 3 weapon cheat but it’s a great battle, Robocop versus the Master Chief.  They have strengths in common such as great armor, and a great deal of experience.  Most respondents thought that Master Chief would defeat the Robocop.  But Master Chief can die after being shot by a pistol whereas Robocop withstood a blast from a rocket propelled grenade. The nod has to go to Robocop.

Master Chief probably needs every Halo 3 weapon cheat he can get for this next battle.  This is Macgyver.  Master Chief is a formidable opponent.  He is proficient with a number of weapons, he has that amazing armor, he has some incredible vehicles at his disposal, he’s a Clint Eastwood type loner, and he can regenerate himself.  MacGyver in a word is brain over brawn.  This battle is similar to Superman facing Batman. If it’s a closed arena where it’s man versus man Master Chief is going to win.  But open arena with access to even household items means a landslide win for Macgyver.

So far Master Chief is 0-2, it’s starting to look like he can really use a Halo 3 weapon cheat.  But let’s give him another chance  – this time Master Chief versus Terminator.  Terminator is an unstoppable killing machine with the ability to master any weapon.  Good thing Master Chief has the Spartan Laser. In the Terminator TV series we’ve seen what an energy weapon can do to a Terminator.

Forget the Halo 3 weapon cheat, Master Chief has one more fight on his hands.  How will he fare against Boba Fett from Star Wars?  Boba has a ship and a jet pack, but he doesn’t have shields like Master Chief.  Some people give the nod to the bounty hunter, but Master Chief simply has too many weapons. It’s 2-2 for Master Chief which isn’t bad.

Kinds of PvP Combat

You can get into PvP combat in various different settings. Knowing something about the different settings will help you find or avoid combat as you wish, and help you understand what everyone else is talking about! Here’s your introduction to each setting:

Duels

Duels are voluntary one-on-one battles. You can duel pretty much anywhere you want, except within cities. One of the best places to find someone to duel against is the entrance to any major city, which is where duelists often hang out looking for someone to challenge.

The Battlegrounds

Horde and Alliance go at it in the battlegrounds, competing to win battles and earn marks. Marks serve as a sort of money that you can trade for various items, including better PvP gear. You can only use marks at the special PvP vendor shops.

The Arenas

Arena combat is an organized, ongoing tournament. Teams (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) battle to earn Arena Points. Points are awarded by team, so fighting as part of a team rather than earning individual glory is the goal. When in the Arena, you can encounter teams from your own faction as well as teams from the enemy faction.

Random Combat

Random combat can happen whenever you run into an enemy player who has their PvP flag set. In PvP realms, that flag is always set, except in a few protected areas, you’re always open to attack. You can manually turn your PvP flag on and off by typing /pvp, and various circumstances will turn it on automatically, even if you aren’t playing in a PvP realm.

World PvP

If you visit the Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus, Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest, or Nagrand, you will find goals that require PvP combat. If you want to achieve those goals, you had better be ready to fight.

PvP Zones

Wintergrasp is the first of a new type of zone that is totally dedicated to PvP combat. Expect more in the future.

Where Can You Get More Information?

You should now have a basic understanding of the different settings where you can find PvP combat. But there’s so much more to learn if you really want to dominate PvP combat, or even hold your own against more experienced players.
